Snow Day Fun

Well we got our promised snow and then some! 7 inches fell last night and left us a lovely white winter wonderland to enjoy this morning.

I love how the trees looked last night, laden with snow and lit by the street lamps. Almost other worldly…

So this morning the first thing we did was grab our sledges and head down to the park…

What fun!

Then of course the exhausting trudge back up the slope…

Perhaps a little rest is in order…

Nice to see the Antler Hat being put to good use 🙂

And I was thrilled to catch this shot of my favorite little bird – the robin. This little fellow was obviously very cold, he was quite brave about being so close to me and didn’t fly off as I moved in a little closer to get a better picture…
