I finally got around to putting the finishing touches on our autumn nature table – or should I say autumn windowsill.
I should just say at this point that a nature table does not have to be a whole table. There are so many lovley ideas for spaces of all types. This year we have a nature windowsill and it makes for a fantastic part of our autumn decor.

This year we Miss J-L and I made this lovely leaf mosaic with our autumn leaf finds. I think it looks fantastic and makes such a pretty window dressing project…

With our recent nature finds, we put together a couple of ‘Bottled Autumn’ jars.

We did this last year and loved the effect. This time we dipped our leaves and rose hips in beeswax to preserve them for a little longer…

a little jar of collected seeds of the season…

and some harvested apples and our much loved autumn Brambly Hedge book…

Altogether, a lovely little autumn display. It makes me happy every time I look at it.

Love your autumn "table"…on the windowsill. I need to look for a dried thistle for my table…awesome idea.
