Menu Monday
This morning started off just like the weather – blustery! We were woken by a crash coming from the living room. ‘Cheese’, my husband and I both exclaimed. We set off at a dash. Yip – our naughty cats had once again tried ever-so-hard to make a meal of dear little Cheese – the hamster His cage was upside down. lid open and sawdust everywhere! Fortunately we found Mr. Cheese sleeping in is wee house – safe and sound. I swear the good Lord watches over that hamster. He has had numerous lucky escapes.
What a day of wintry weather here in England! It has been a day of sunshine, followed by snow showers, followed by sunshine, followed by snow showers… :o)
Lessons are finally done for the day, all the laundry is washed and on the line (indoor clotheshorse and radiators) and tonight’s supper is on the go. Which leaves me some time to grab a cup of coffee and a quick pop in visit here at ‘Under An English Sky.’

It all sounds lovely, Shirley Ann! I'm curious about Cornish ice cream? And your Sunday roast dinner sounds scrumptious! 🙂

Hi Dawn,
Traditionally, Cornish Ice-cream is made with clotted cream and in Cornwall, England. Apparently there are certain ice-cream makers that will only use mild from Cornish farms. I think that's kind of neat :o)
Dawn
That is so neat! Thanks for the explanation. 🙂

Poor poor poor cheese! To be a hunted being seems sad 🙁 hopefully the cats will get tired and leave him/her alone 🙂
Shirley-Ann
The funny thing Karen, is that Cheese seems totally unperturbed! He will often meet the cat at the bars of his cage and sniff eagerly at them. He just carries on on his merry little way. We have upped his security measures though! LOL
